Hello Microstocker! 

If you have come this far, it’s because you are already in my Facebook group "Microstock Academy" and would like to earn more, even several thousand dollars a month, and turn stock photography into your main source of income.

So, take a couple of minutes to read this page. Here I will tell you how I went from a bartender with zero photography experience to several thousand dollars a month and traveling the world without having to work from a fixed place anymore.

I'd like to tell you that I was born with an incredible talent for photography, but I’d better say that it didn't work out that way. Actually, I had never picked up a camera until I turned 36.

For most of my life, I worked as a bartender at a club in Rimini (Italy): in summer I worked around the clock, and in winter I enjoyed traveling around the world when I could and as long as the money I earned was enough.

At the beginning of 2012, I began to feel the need for a plan B, something that would give me an alternative source of income while also making me free to manage my time as I wanted: sleep for as long as I liked, travel whenever I wanted and even take some days off sitting on the couch and read or watch TV just because I wanted to. 

I wanted to find something that could give me the freedom to travel but at the same time generate a passive income, so that I wouldn't have to work from a fixed place somewhere employed by someone else. 

That was the whole scenario. Then I heard about stock photography from a friend who told me about an article in a magazine.

At first, I was a bit hesitant: after all, I was just a bartender and had never picked up a professional camera.

I was a "normal" person, whose career in photography so far was all about taking pictures with small compact cameras or smartphones!

But I had the feeling that there was a great opportunity behind Microstock and that it would be the perfect business for my Plan B (at that time it was just a "Plan B", but now it is my main business).

Actually, the beginning was really TRAUMATIC, no matter how much I tried and tried again to take beautiful, artistic, well-thought-out photos, I couldn‘t make my photos commercially attractive.

The first year I earned MUCH less than everything I had invested. Yes, you read that right, even though now Microstock is my living.

As you can see from these screenshots before the PANDEMIC I was making an average of almost $6000 per MONTH.

Then, as we all know, the world economy went into a slump (except for pharmaceuticals 😱) and even I suffered a drop of about 20% in my income.

There was a silver lining though: even in the hard months of the 2020 lockdown I kept earning, averaging $4500 per month of PURE PASSIVE INCOME, stuck at home on the couch, without being able to do anything!!!

Oh, wait! I’m going a little too fast, let's go back to my first year of microstock activity. 

Seeing my disappointing results, I went looking for someone who could help me figure out how to make money from stock photography and found a microstocker who was having extraordinary results at that time.

Fortunately, he was willing to teach me: we agreed on a 2000€ consulting, and he spent two days teaching me his method.

It was enlightening, as he explained to me exactly what I needed to change in my approach in order to start making serious money from stock photography.

Back home I put my head down to work, starting from scratch and planning my work for the next few months.

Shortly thereafter, I began to gradually see the first results of my new working method.

As the earnings grew month by month, I began to develop my own method, improving what I had learned until my new workflow became even faster, more effective, and also more fun. Day by day I was creating new strategies that soon began to boost my results even more. 

Over the years I taught my strategies to several students through private coaching, and all of them achieved great results, as you will hear in some video feedback on the page.
